The four-product collection is designed for waves, curls and coils to support scalp vitality.

Carol’s Daughter — the haircare brand Lisa Price founded in her Brooklyn kitchen more than three decades ago — has cooked up a new line for scalp care with Lisa’s Kitchen Scalp & Edge Care.
Officials say Lisa’s Kitchen arrives at a “defining moment” in Carol’s Daughter’s history. Within the last year, Price reclaimed the helm of her brand, which she founded in the 1990s.
“Healthy hair begins at the scalp — something most of us learned sitting in the kitchen, the same place where Carol’s Daughter was born,” said Price. “Over the years, I watched our routines evolve. Styles became sleeker, protective styles lasted longer, and wash days stretched further apart. And while we mastered the art of styling our hair, we often gave less attention to the foundation beneath it.”
The four-product collection is designed for waves, curls and coils made with botanicals and skincare-inspired ingredients to support scalp vitality. Formulated with a signature botanical trinity of nettle leaf, soursop and lavender, alongside skincare-inspired actives like ceramides and niacinamide.
Edge Treatment Balm – A balm-to-oil treatment for fragile edges designed for daily use, this rich formula melts into a lightweight oil to help cushion and condition without heaviness or buildup. Powered by Green Coffee Butter, it moisturizes stressed edges and can be layered under edge controls/gels to create a flexible, breathable seal that helps lock in hydration.
Scalp Balancing Serum – A lightweight, oil-free serum for daily scalp hydration, this fragrance-free formula is powered by niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and rice protein. It helps support a healthy-feeling scalp while delivering weightless hydration without heaviness, buildup, or residue. Fast-absorbing and breathable, it’s designed for effortless daily use.
Scalp & Edge Cleansing Oil – A no-rinse cleanse to help stretch styles between wash days, this lightweight, non-greasy formula helps dissolve buildup, excess oil and edge control residue while Rice Bran Oil helps nourish the scalp, leaving it feeling clean, comfortable and refreshed.
Scalp Detox Cleansing Nectar – A gentle detox, this sulfate-free airy-foam cleanser lifts away buildup, excess oil and impurities without the dryness often associated with traditional clarifying shampoos. Designed for every wash day, it is formulated with ceramides to help support the scalp’s natural moisture balance.
Carol’s Daughter’s Lisa’s Kitchen line is available for $12.99 each at CarolsDaughter.com, Walmart, CVS and Amazon.
